Most tasks are safe to give AI. But there is data you should never enter — not even "for a second".
Never enter
- Passwords, PINs, SMS codes and any access keys.
- Card numbers, CVV, bank details.
- ID numbers, tax IDs, exact address.
- Other people personal data without their consent.
- Trade secrets and work secrets in personal services.
How to anonymize a task
You can often get help without revealing personal data. Replace real data with placeholders: instead of "my contract with Ivanov for 500,000" — "a contract with a contractor for amount X".

Exercise
Take a document you want AI help with and strike out (or replace) everything personal: names, numbers, addresses. Make sure the task is still clear.
Rule: if you are unsure whether to send it — do not. Anonymize or skip it.
