About this course

This course covers using AI in everyday family life — from meal planning and schedules to helping kids with homework and staying safe online. It addresses a real problem for overloaded parents: routine household tasks eat up time, and questions about how AI affects a child and what to trust it with usually go unanswered.

The course moves from household tasks to kids: first meal planning, shopping, and coordinating the whole family's schedule, then helping with homework without doing it for the child and explanations kids actually understand, plus age-appropriate stories and games. A dedicated block covers child safety — screen time, attachment to chatbots, teenagers, and privacy — and the final project has you build a family system out of five recurring scenarios.

The course suits parents of children of any age, and anyone helping older relatives with everyday tasks too. No special knowledge is required — just willingness to try AI in real family situations, from cooking to talking with a child about staying safe online.
