This course is about writing with AI as a co-author — not something that writes the text for you, but something that works in four modes: generator, opponent, editor, reader. It solves the problem of writing alone: the idea stalls, the structure falls apart halfway through, and you can't judge your own draft without an outside perspective.

The course moves from a premise and generating openings you filter by criteria, through story arc, beat sheets, and pacing, to characters — built on desire, fear, and contradiction — and a style profile that gets the model to sound like you. In "Scene, Detail, Dialogue" you rewrite one of your own scenes from scratch, at least 800 words, and the final project takes a text of 1,500+ words to submission-ready through four editing passes.

It suits people writing short stories, essays, screenplays, or a book who want a systematic way to work with AI at every stage, from concept to final edit. You need a current text or idea to work on in class; no literary background is required.
