AI dashboards and BI
Interactive dashboards and self-serve analytics with AI for teams.
About this course
This course treats dashboards as decision-making tools, not decoration: how to figure out what decision a dashboard actually supports, align metrics across teams, and stop confusing people with layout choices. It solves the problem of turning a sprawling zoo of reports into a manageable system.
The course moves from dashboard types and auditing existing ones through metric definitions with formulas and owners to data layers, perceptual design, and an operations playbook. Projects run on your own dashboards: a metric glossary for one business domain, a data layer rebuilt under an existing dashboard, a screen redesigned by the block's rules with a before-and-after comparison.
Built for analysts and BI developers who already build dashboards and want to bring order to them. You'll need experience with some BI tool or SQL — the work is done on your own real reports.

- Use AI to generate queries with mandatory cross-checks
- Choose charts and honest axes that don't distort the data
- Design a visual hierarchy: what's visible in three seconds
- Track usage and retire dead dashboards
